ACSA Accredited "The Custody Program"
The only qualifications designed for, and endorsed by, the custody industry
The ACSA Institute and Financial Education Professionals (FEP) offer The Custody Program, the industry standard in custody training. This program, endorsed by the Australian Custodial Services Association (ACSA), is designed to address the training and education needs of those working in custodial services and developing their careers within the industry.
The Custody Program comprises four compulsory subjects. Successful completion results in a Diploma of Financial Markets.
Compulsory subjects include:
Students who wish to cease studies after the first two subjects can exit the program with a Certificate IV in Financial Markets Operations.
Features
- The program is designed, delivered (in house workshops) and assessed by experienced industry practitioners
- The program is available on a flexible self-study format which means that students are not bound by arbitrary semesters and terms
- Students have the freedom to enrol in one subject at a time
- The program is available nationally
- Assessments are conducted progressively with each subject
- Participants complete the first two subjects can either receive their Certificate IV or continue to the Diploma
- The program is suitable for participants in custodian services and those servicing the industry including marketing, IT, call centres, legal and human resources professionals
- Participants receive comprehensive course materials; case studies and exercises; and practice exam questions
- The program content and structure reflects the full value chain within custodial services
Delivery
- The program is undertaken as self-study, which means that all subjects are available all year
- However, we can arrange for in-house delivery of subjects as required
Assessment
- Formal closed-book examinations: Each subject has one closed-book examination. Participants must achieve 70% for successful completion. Sample examination questions are provided to allow participants to simulate exam conditions and prepare for their knowledge assessments
- Research Assignment/Workplace assessment: Introduction to Custody contains an additional research assignment/workplace (portfolio) assessment which will assess skills relevant to the course
- Detailed information about assessment is provided at the commencement of each subject. Experience students may wish to accelerate their studies through Recognition of Prior Learning (by application only, please contact our office to discuss).
